Welcome to African Women Connect's (AWC) Book Club homepage. AWC provides opportunities for women to network and build relationships for friendship, business and community. In addition to our book club, we organize special events, group outings and partner with various organizations to provide fun and learning opportunities.
AWC Book Club is a women's only club with a focus on African authors. Our core group meets face to face periodically and consists of women of African heritage living in the Diaspora.
Mission: To create a network to empower women of African descent, linking them to valuable resources and promiting partnerships that strengthen individual and communal success.
Vision: We dream of a world where African women are viewed and recognized as valuable contributors to society by themselves and others.
